Weybridge Silver Sculls
A number of junior crews went to Weybridge last weekend, although the ranks were sorely depleted by half-term holidays and illness.
All scullers and crews rowed well, and almost all negotiated Walton Bridge without collision! Of the younger scullers, the WJ14 quad of Eleanor, Thea, Rachel and Mimi, coxed by Hannah, had a very good row and won their category by three minutes.
Pauline Bird won WVD singles, and also presented the prizes – the event was founded by her father in 1956.
