Hampton Small Boats Head
The top TSS junior crews, unfortunately less some of our best because of illness and injury, raced at Hampton small boats head with over 600 entries on Saturday. Thomas E and Aaron raced extremely well in the double to win, beating 24 other crews including some of the best other crews in their age group. They also doubled up with Luke (John Moon's younger brother) of King's School Canterbury and Edmund B from Thames, with Julia of TSS coxing, to win J15 quads and finish third overall, close behind two J18 doubles - a very good performance. Ollie raced well in J16 singles as did Tom B and Laurie in Junior doubles.
Three J16 girls doubles raced, the best performance was Victoria and Roselle who were fifth overall, about where they finished at Nat Champs, and behind most of the same crews.
Finally Jess and Harriet raced well in J15 doubles in a high quality field.
Overall a good day at a very high class event.
