Scullers Head
Thirty-eight TSS scullers raced in the 54th Scullers Head and recorded some impressive results.
The club won five pennants, while eight scullers finished in the top twenty overall, and two in the top five women.
Top placed from TSS was Mike Hennessy, who finished third overall. An excellent performance from Antony Smith claimed the elite lightweight pennant and seventh place. The senior 3 pennant went to John Collins, by a comfortable margin.
Andrea Finn was the club’s fastest woman. Rachael Davies took women’s senior 2 lightweight, while Frances Barton and Kate Bridges won women’s veteran C and veteran E respectively. Club member Rachel Knaster, racing for the American School in London, won the women’s junior category.
