The President's and Executive committess have decided a number of points:

Alec Hodges
An event will be held in Alec's memory at TSS on 29th June - the Sunday before Henley. A lasting memorial to Alec will be unveiled, and the other ways in which TSS will remember Alec will be announced.

New boathouse
The planning application has been heard, but the council have deferred a decision pending further information. TSS is providing this information and are hopeful of approval in February.

Boat purchases
The captain and chief coach are drawing up a shopping list of new boats. The first of these are a women's lightweight double and a men's heavyweight coxed four. Both are on order and a new eight, in part funded by the proceeds of last summer's Filippi raffle, is to be ordered shortly.

Sponsorship
The President's Committee is developing a plan to secure club sponsorship.

Boathouse
The Buildings Sub-committee are working hard: the windows have been replaced, the electrical system has had emergency repairs and repairs of the balcony and other areas are being addressed.

The state of the club room has been very poor of late. Please make sure that all cups and plates are washed up and that no kit is left lying around.

Training camp
The training camp in Seville was reported to be a great success, particularly thanks to Simon Suthers and Tom Gale for their organisation of the camp and coaching.
