World Rowing Masters Regatta

A small contingent rounded off the season at the World Rowing Masters Regatta in Poznan, Poland.

Tim Male won A 1x and B 1x and also Mixed A 2x with Carrie Thomas, who was listed as Thames for the regatta. Carrie also won three medals, the other two in WA 4- and WA 4+ as a Barnes Bridge Ladies/Thames composite

Former club member Gretchen Kellner was also racing at the regatta, and won WD 4x with Sydney's Mosman Rowing Club.

World Championships

A bronze medal for Alan Campbell in Bled, and ex club captain Rod Chisholm becomes world champion.

EURC selection

Sarah Lonergan has been selected as a member of the Great Britain squad for the European University Rowing Championship, organised by EUSA, which will take place in Moscow from 30th August to 2nd September.

Sarah will be one of the team's single scullers, and the sole representative of the University of Birmingham, where she is reading law.

Junior Worlds

A number of TSS members were part of the corps of volunteers at the recent World Rowing Junior Championships at Dorney Lake, an event at which many of the systems for the 2012 Olympics were being tested.

Coupe de la Jeunesse

Mimi attended the Coupe de la Jeunesse in Ottensheim, Austria, representing Great Britain in the women's single. Kaarin Scanlan accompanied her as coach.

Henley T&V

Home International Regatta

The under-23 coxless four of Billy Fields, Tom Youd, Ben Crouch and Jonathan Williams were selected to represent England at the Home International Regatta, following their performance at the British Rowing Championships.
