Race Entries
Entries to ARA events for both crews and single scullers are made by the club's entries secretary.
Entries system
All members must register with the club's entries system. To do so, supply the entries secretary with the following details: full name, contact e-mail and phone number, date of birth, ARA number, sculling points, rowing points. An account will then be made.
In order to pay for entries, put a cheque (payable to TSS entries) in the white cheque box in the club room. The amount will be credited to your entries account and race entries (plus a nominal admin charge) will be deducted from this account. Account statements are produced every month: keep an eye on these as those without sufficient funds will not be entered.
Please also make sure that your ARA membership is kept up to date, and that you are registered as a member of Tideway Scullers School. Both are necessary for online entries using the OARA system.
Making entries
The entries secretary will post race posters and sign-up sheets on the board in the club room. Entries deadlines will be given: note that these are the internal club deadline rather than the event's closing date. Many events are heavily over-subscribed so the entries secretary will aim to get these entries in as soon as possible.
